Our team would love to present our plan to your Neighborhood Council, residents association, civic group, book club (we're not kidding!) and more and start a conversation: where do we want housing? What do we want it to look like? And what is the quality of life we all want?

The LCI is a framework for housing and livable streets and we combine best practices, case studies and engineering from experts across LA and from around the world. Our mission is to share ideas with local communities so they can design the streets they want and create the housing options they need – in a way that complements cherished Neighborhood Serving Retail, legacy family businesses and existing residential housing. No one knows the neighborhood like the neighbors.

Our vision and our hope is for our neighborhoods to have ample housing that is high quality and affordable, along healthy and safe streets with better air quality, less traffic, lower climate emissions, a lush tree canopy and parks and playgrounds. We want to create the opportunity for everyone who wants to live without a car to be able to do so in a safe, pleasant and dignified way – which helps our air, our traffic, and climate emissions.
